Frequently Asked Questions

How do I sign in to Wakala Forum?

Use the same WhatsApp phone number you registered with. We send a 4-digit OTP code to that number for login verification.

I am not receiving the OTP code. What should I do?

Confirm your WhatsApp number is active and entered correctly with country code, then request OTP again. If it still fails, contact support and include the exact number format used.

How can I report abusive posts, stories, or chat behavior?

Open the content options menu and use the Report action. This flags the content or account for moderation review by our team.

Why am I being asked to update the app before continuing?

Wakala Forum may require a minimum app version for security and stability. Update to the latest version in your app store, then reopen the app.

How do I deactivate or delete my account?

In the app, open Profile > Settings > Danger zone. Deactivation is temporary. Deletion is permanent, with a 30-day grace window before final removal.

Can I change my app language?

Yes. Go to Profile > Settings > Language and switch between English and Kiswahili.
